High Vape & Glass is an independent journal covering the care and maintenance of borosilicate glassware and dry-herb vaporizer hardware. It is written and maintained by Marcus Reyne, and it exists because the information in this area is unusually scattered — split between manufacturer marketing, forum folklore, and the occasional accurate answer buried in a long thread.

The aim here is narrow: explain how things actually work, test the claims that can be tested, and say plainly when something is a matter of preference rather than fact.

What we cover

Our writing falls into a few consistent areas: cleaning chemistry and what actually dissolves residue, thermal stress and why glass fails, vaporizer heating and maintenance schedules, and the compatibility questions that come up constantly. We publish when there is something worth saying rather than to a quota, which means the archive grows steadily rather than quickly.
